Running Asteris Free and a paid Asteris licence together
Asteris for WooCommerce Free and a paid tier (Starter, Pro, Agency, or Founder Lifetime) run together on the same WordPress install. You don’t uninstall Asteris Free to install a paid tier.
How it works
Asteris for WooCommerce is one plugin file. The licence key activates additional modules within the same plugin.
When you purchase a paid tier:
- Download the updated plugin from your account dashboard (it’s the same plugin, with the paid module code included)
- Upload and activate, or let the plugin update in-place if you already have the right version
- Enter your licence key in Asteris for WooCommerce → Licence
- The 13 additional paid modules appear in your module list immediately
Which modules are active at each stage

What happens if the paid licence lapses
If your annual licence isn’t renewed, the 13 paid-only modules deactivate. The 6 Free modules continue working. No data is lost — paid-module settings are preserved in the database and restore when you renew.
