Asteris for WooCommerce is GPL-2.0+ software. All tiers use the same open-source licence.

Staging: a staging subdomain of the same production site doesn’t count as a separate site.
Local development: local dev environments don’t count as sites.
Transferring a licence
Email support@asterisforwoocommerce.com with your old domain and new domain. No fee. Processed within 1 business day.
Starter, Pro, Agency: transfer within your site limit. Founder Lifetime: unlimited transfers, within the same buyer’s ownership.
What happens when an annual licence lapses
The 13 paid-only modules deactivate. The 6 Free modules keep working. Settings are preserved — renewing restores everything.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use my licence on a client’s site? Pro (3 sites) and Agency (unlimited) allow client site installs. Starter (1 site) is for your own site only. Agency doesn’t extend to clients self-managing the plugin after delivery.
Can I resell Asteris for WooCommerce licences? No. The licence is for your own use, not for resale or bundling.
Is the code available to modify? Yes. GPL-2.0+ permits modification. If you distribute modified versions, GPL terms apply.
