Switching from Pretty Links to Asteris for WooCommerce

Pretty Links Premium is $99/yr for link shortening, affiliate link management, and click tracking. Asteris for WooCommerce includes the Asteris Links module — the same core functionality — plus 18 other modules for $149/yr.

Short link creation, custom slugs, click tracking, link categorisation, and redirect types (301, 302, 307). Built into the WooCommerce admin alongside your other Asteris for WooCommerce modules.

What Asteris Links doesn’t cover compared to Pretty Links Pro: A/B testing of redirect destinations, geo-targeting, split-testing, link health checks. If you use Pretty Links for those advanced features, Asteris Links isn’t a full replacement.

Migration

Your existing Pretty Links can’t be auto-imported (the link structures live in the database in a different format). You’d manually recreate your most important links in Asteris Links, then set 301 redirects from the old Pretty Links slugs to the new ones.

For most stores this means migrating 5-20 affiliate or product links. For stores with 500+ Pretty Links, the migration is more involved — contact support@ before switching.
