Terms of Service — Asteris for WooCommerce

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Asteris for WooCommerce software and related services provided by My Cosmic Message Pty Ltd (ACN 652 358 159, ABN 30 652 358 159) trading as Asteris Commerce, Bullecourt Ave, Milperra NSW 2214, Australia (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By purchasing a licence or downloading Asteris for WooCommerce Free, you agree to these Terms.

1. The product

Asteris for WooCommerce is a WordPress plugin. It is software, not a service. We grant you a licence to use it under these Terms and the licence terms at /docs/licensing.

Asteris for WooCommerce Free is distributed under the GNU General Public License version 2.0 or later (GPL-2.0+), consistent with WordPress’s licensing requirements. Paid tiers are distributed under the same GPL licence with additional terms governing support and updates.

2. Licences

Asteris for WooCommerce Free: GPL-2.0+ licence. Use, modify, and distribute subject to GPL terms.

Asteris Starter, Pro, Agency: Annual subscription licence. One licence per tier as defined at /pricing. Licence is non-transferable to third parties. Domain transfers within the same buyer’s ownership are permitted — contact support@.

Founder Lifetime: Lifetime licence for one site. Includes all future modules shipped under the Asteris for WooCommerce brand for as long as Asteris Commerce operates. Non-transferable to third parties. Domain transfers within the same buyer’s ownership are permitted.

3. Refund policy

All paid tiers carry a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase, processed within 24 hours via Lemon Squeezy. See Refund Policy for full terms.

4. Updates and support

Annual tiers receive updates and support access for the duration of the licence period. Renewal is required to continue receiving updates and support after the licence period expires. A lapsed licence continues to function on your site but stops receiving updates.

Founder Lifetime receives updates for the life of the licence (as long as Asteris Commerce operates) and priority support at 1 business day first-response SLA, for life.

Support is provided Monday to Friday, Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). Response times stated at /support are first-response SLAs, not resolution SLAs.

5. Active development disclosure

Asteris for WooCommerce is in active development. We make no warranty that the software is free of defects, suitable for your particular use case, or uninterrupted in operation.

The software is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by applicable law.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, My Cosmic Message Pty Ltd t/a Asteris Commerce’s liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Asteris for WooCommerce is limited to the amount you paid for your licence in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for loss of revenue, loss of data, or consequential loss arising from your use of Asteris for WooCommerce.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

7. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

We collect information necessary to process your purchase and provide support. See our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising from these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Continued use of Asteris for WooCommerce after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
